Fantasies Come True?
Rating- 4 Ketchups
Presenting a movie based on life of a young Italian American guy who cares about only few things in his life, his body, his ride, his family, his church, his boys, his girls and his porn. Yeah you read it right and I’m not going to repeat it again. I think its enough to make you watch this movie. Minors, go ask your parents, and nerds quickly use time machine to turn 18 because Kernel ketchup is going R-rated in movies with this post.
This isn’t just some another rom-com with a pretty woman and a pretty man who drive off into the sunset which we know is fake but we indulge in it like its real life. Believe me when I say that Joseph Gordon-Levitt justified his performance with this as an actor, director and story writer in this movie. Let me drop some raunchy hints to lure you more into this spicy saga. Jon’s journey takes an interesting turn when her eyes land on Barbara Sugerman (portrayed brilliantly by Scarlett Johansson) and wants more than just one night stand with her. Thinking of how she is more than a dime and would make her life worth living, Jon invites her to lunch and so it begins… Until the first time they do it and still he finds himself more in love with porn. Oh! I almost forgot to mention that our hero is an porn addict (who isn’t these days) and her new girlfriend asks her to stop watching it. And from there onward the story takes some twists and turns showcasing the struggle Jon encounters of false fantasies leading a dual life, and no, not as robin from The Dark Knight Rises. That’s all I’m gonna spill for you. This is something new, fresh and exotic unlike any other movie you’ve watched this year. Go for it, and I say you won’t regret doing so. Lose Yourself.
PS: Who needs to watch porn when one can share bed with Scarlett Johansson 😉
