This one, The Book of Life, is a sweet, funky & colourful movie which tries to do both and leaves you with a smile at the end.
At times you might find yourself in pants in which you don’t fit. Well, you sir, are not alone because let me present you, Oh, yes that’s the name. The situation with Oh is quite similar, except for the fact that we are talking about a misfit fugitive alien here who has escaped from his nomadic tribe of boovs during the friendly invasion of planet earth. Yeah, sounds great until you find out that your planet-destroying enemy has traced your location and is hell bent on your species’ destruction. Be it the Joker from Nolan’s Batman or Loki from the Avengers, we all love having outstanding villains, In this case it’s a big blue brainy brilliant one! (Who said alliteration makes content stylish, it looks normal, doesn’t it?) Moving on, here’s another Dreamworks’ animation movie, Megamind.
