Tom Clancy’s Splinter Cell: Blacklist [Video Game]

You know the franchise did something right if even after 7 years of release of its last instalment you find yourself living your past again. Such was the experience when I re-installed the game again this year to quench my thirst of stealth games. Seriously, why don’t they make such games anymore?

There aren’t many things in the world which can be enjoyed by a person who is both, a gamer and a book-worm. Of course, we always have the option of finding ourselves a nerdy gamer girlfriend, but let’s face it, we have more chances of discovering an alien specie. Worry not, kernel ketchup comes to your rescue again. Introducing you the franchise which has both action-adventure packed stealth games and spell-binding novels. At times when your little sibling commits a mistake but you’re the one who took the scolding by parents or when you scored a brilliant D on the test but it says F on the report card. Let’s agree to the fact that each of us honor has been dissed at some point in life and this game is a brilliant way to take your revenge. Continue reading “Dishonored [Video Game]”

Calling out all gamers (not the casual angry birds type, I mean serious business!) and fans of Naurto Uzumaki, Dattebayo! Finally I was able to play this game as it was meant to be after trying dozens of patches and lag fixes. But all the effort was worth it. The game came out earlier this year in February and here is a quick review to why I suggest it as a must play. Continue reading “Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm 4 [Video Game]”

Your brain might’ve heard or seen it subconsciously on play store and the ‘Not Free’ tag have refrained you from trying it but this game is now available on PC , PlayStation and Xbox with enhanced graphics, maps and cars. This game takes a new approach to racing game by making you drive small cars on a table top with track decorated with regular objects like books, spray cans etc. Continue reading “Table Top Racing: World Tour [Video Game]”

Superhot [Video Game]

Rating- 3 Ketchups

I’m sure almost all of you will fall prey to this misleading game title and would open up this review to see what the hell Superhot is about. Before the big reveal, inviting all the patient and cool minded gamers to have a handful of Superhot. A compact game which is small in size but is elaborated in gameplay. World of Goo [Video Game][APP]

Rating- 4 Ketchups

Of the many great deeds my teenage consisted of, one of them was indulging myself in this awesome piece of creativity. Such is the impact of this incredible game that you wouldn’t be able to resist yourself applauding the sign painter (the closest thing to narrator the game has). The fun, the challenge, the implication, the symbolism, the jurisdiction, the condensation, the fragmentation, seems like you got me exaggerating but tbh I was serious till the symbolism part, the game has it all. Dragon Ball XenoVerse [Video Game]

Rating- 3.5 Ketchups

Dragon Ball XenoVerse, based on one of the most influential Japanese anime Dragon Ball Z (which anyone can figure out 😑) is a fighting role playing game. It’s published by Bandai Namco who already have released many video games based on famous anime like Naruto, One Piece and other titles like Tekken and Dark Souls. Also Xenoverse isn’t their first Dragon Ball game so it really created a hype when it was released last year..

Dragon Ball Xenoverse is a third person fighting game where you play as one of many DragonBall universe characters. It even includes the latest addition from Dragon Ball Super and Resurrection ‘F’. Goku’s all super saiyan forms can be unlocked as you progress through story mode . This wasn’t my first Dragon Ball game as I did play Dragon Ball Z :Budokai Tenkaichi 2 and Budokai Tenkaichi 3 when I was a kid. They both fascinated me as a kid and I used to play them a lot with my friends in 2 Player VS Mode. Dragon Ball Xenoverse made me relive that time once again . So, I can’t help but to get a very veryy little biased towards it in this review. Continue reading “Dragon Ball XenoVerse [Video Game]”

Need for Speed: The Run [Video Game]

Rating -4.5 Ketchups

I know this is coming 4 years late but hear me out because there’s still a lot of folks who haven’t played this fabulous game. After playing almost every NFS ever released, without having a second thought I’ll put NFS Run in my “Top 3 NFS Ever”. That said,  you’ll now expect some distinctive feature this game must be possessing to be my favourite but that’s really not the case here, I love this game mainly because of its simplicity and pure racing. I know most of the gamers wants all types of modding and upgrading their cars but that’s not the case with me, I like it better if after every race instead of crying for upgrades I’ll just get a new car and go on to next race. That’s the NFS Run is all about. In story mode you’ll play as Jack Rourke  who is a street racer and after messing with some bad people he’s in desperate need of money. To end all of his problems his friend Sam offered him a cross county race with a huge payout and that’s all you’ve to do, make Jack win that race.
